- Strenghtening of the teaching of the Italian language in Tasmania;
- Role of Italy in the Antarctic Region and deepening of the scientific cooperation btw Italy and Tasmania thanks to the opportunities connected with Hobart as one of the five Gateways to Antarctica;
- Relaunching of the Sistercity relationship between the Cities of l’Aquila and Hobart, including by framing it into a broader cooperation between the Governments of Abruzzo and Tasmania;
- Reinforcing “people-to-people” relations also through a parliamentary cooperation dimension;
- Promoting business opportunities in niche sectors of high technological value thanks to the parallel visit to Hobart of the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Melbourne.
