Ambassador Crudele concluded yesterday his visit to Melbourne to attend the Australian International Airshow & Aerospace and Defence Exposition (AVALON 2023), the most important airshow of the southern hemisphere.
On the eve of the airshow, together with the Consul General Hanna Pappalardo and Delegations of the Italian General Secretariat of Defence and Italian Airforce, he attended the State reception hosted by the Governor of Victoria, Linda Dessau. The reception’s main highlight was Leonardo Company’s helicopter landing on the Western Lawn of Government House.
At Avalon Airshow 2023 he visited the Italian Trade Agency’s Stand and had meetings with representatives of Italian companies showcasing cutting-edge defence and aerospace innovation technology such as Leonardo Australia, Piaggio Aerospace, Elettronica Group, Astra and Jobs Automation.
Ambassador Crudele took the opportunity to take part in the 2023 cocktail launch event of ICCI Melbourne, to meet with the leadership of Iveco Trucks Australia and to visit the Lavazza Australia training center.
