Consul General Hanna Pappalardo launched together with the Director of the Italian Cultural Institute in Melbourne, Angelo Gioè, the CEO of COASIT Melbourne, Marco Fedi, the President of Comites Victoria and Tasmania, Ubaldo Agliano’, the President of the Dante Alighieri Society Melbourne, Dominic Barbaro, and the President of the Victorian Association of Italian Teachers, Ferdinando Colarossi, the XXII Week of the Italian Languagein the World.
In front of an audience of key decision and policy makers of the Victorian Education and Training Sector, the speakers of the event (Dr. Bambagiotti of the Embassy of Italy in Canberra, Prof. Hajek of the University of Melbourne, Prof. Rubino of the University of Sidney, Dr. Baracchi of COASIT), have presented the events organized by the Consulate General together with the Institutional Partners of the Week, but also a comprehensive picture of the status of the teaching of the Italian language in Victoria. The report also includes recommendations on how to reinforce and consolidate the important achievements gained so far.
