The Week of the Italian Cuisine in the World 2023 has been inaugurated in Melbourne with a gala dinner enriched by authentic Italian products at Caterina’s Cucina e bar, an iconic Melbourne Italian culinary institution.
The event has been organized by the Consulate General of Italy in Melbourne in cooperation with the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Melbourne with the support of the Italian Cultural Institute in Melbourne, CO.AS.IT and COMITES Victoria and Tasmania.
The Consul General focused her remarks on the candidacy of the Italian Cuisine as UNESCO’s intangible heritage.
