Ambassador Paolo Crudele just concluded a new visit to Melbourne.
Accompanied by Consul General Hanna Pappalardo he met with the new Governor of Victoria, H.E. Professor Margareth Gardner, with the Director of the Victorian State Office, Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Timothy Kane, & with the new CEO of the Australian Grand Prix, Trevis Auld.
Ambassador Crudele attended the annual Gala Dinner of the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Melbourne, with more than 500 guests, and in particular, Anthony Cianflone MP, representing the Minister for Energy and Resources and Minister for Climate Action, Lily D’Ambrosio, the Leader of the Opposition, John Pesutto, the Lord Mayor of the City of Melbourne, Sally Capp, the CEO of the City of Hobart, Jaqui Allen, Senator Francesco Giacobbe, and the Honourable Nicola Care’, together with representatives of the Italian and Italian-Australian business community in Victoria and Tasmania.
Ambassador Crudele visited the Italian Museum, in the heart of the “Little Italy” of Melbourne, hosted by Co.As.It Melbourne, one of the most relevant organizations of the Italian community in Victoria and our partner in the teaching of the Italian language and promotion of Italian culture in Australia. There he met with the leaderships of Co.As.It Melbourne and of Comites Victoria e Tasmania, in order to discuss common projects and initiatives.
