Consul General Hanna Pappalardo attended together with the Consul General of the United States, Kathleen Lively, and the Consul General of Japan, Junji Shimada, the 2023 National Conference Sister Cities – Linking the World Together hosted by the City of Wyndham.
In her speech, the Consul General highlighted the role of the diplomatic-consular Corps in Melbourne in support of Sister City arrangements, illustrated Rome’s candicacy to host the 2030 World EXPO and shared her experience with the Sister Cities’ relationship Milan-Melbourne and Hobart-l’Aquila.
