This document is valid for 5 days only\u00a0for the return journey to Italy or to the country of legal residence (proven by AIRE registration).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To obtain the ETD document, you must come to the Consulate General (no appointment required) <strong>no sooner than 5 days<\/strong> from the date of departure.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">You are required to report your stolen\/lost passport (click <a href=\"https:\/\/consmelbourne.esteri.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Denuncia-furto-smarrimento-Passaporto-Ordinario.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>) and bring:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">2 passport size photographs (you can obtain them from the Australia Post Office)<\/li>\n<li>report of stolen\/lost passport from the local police authority<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Photocopy of a photo ID or photocopy of your lost\/stolen passport.
