The authorisation \u00a0is free of charge and is issued by the Consulate General for all children residing in this Consular district. No appointment is required.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Parents may request the authorisation by filling the <a href=\"https:\/\/consmelbourne.esteri.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Dichiarazione_accompagnamento.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">form<\/a>\u00a0and attaching:<\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Photocopies of parents&#8217; passports<\/li>\n<li>Photocopy of child&#8217;s Italian passport<\/li>\n<li>Photocopy of the passport of the accompanying adult (s) or, if the child is travelling alone, the airline and flight details.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Please note: In case that one of the parents is not a citizen of the European Union, this parent needs to come to the Consulate General in person, with a valid photo ID document, to sign the authorisation.
